How do I start my own instagram?

I get asked this question all the time, and the way I see it its pretty simple. If you're trying to create content on social media or start a platform you need to first of all figure out what exactly your focus is.

Followers and growth will follow you when you have figured out what your niche is. However, don't feel limited to the one area - but it is best to focus on a main theme if you want to satisfy your viewers. Always be unique and genuine too, and of course don't forget to interact.

How do you afford to travel so much?

This is a question that a lot of people who "wish they could travel but never could" ask and its one that sometimes comes across as quite silly. I am a firm believer that most people have the means to travel. If you really want it badly enough you will make it happen, trust me. Learn to budget, get a second job, cut your costs, live a little less luxuriously for a while and it will all pay off.

How do you earn money?

At the moment, I am studying at university full time and working a casual job as well as of course doing the odd modelling job, working on my instagram/ youtube/ blog/  etc... My main source of income is from my job, which I work twice a week and save as much as I can to fund my next trip.

How did you get into modelling?

Modelling is something I have always wanted to do and I am currently signed with 2 different agencies in both Melbourne and on the Gold Coast. I was scouted by my Melbourne agency through my Instagram and the rest is history.

My social media was my way into the industry, and still plays a huge part as brands are constantly on the gram looking for new faces and talent to represent their work.

Do you follow a diet/ fitness regime?

I don't follow a strict diet and I change up what I eat on a weekly basis but I eat a predominately plant based (vegan) diet. I have always eaten healthy, but have found that this is the easiest and most enjoyable way for me to eat.

Think massive stir-fries and baked veggies with rice and noodles, smoothie bowls, raw treats. I don't cut carbs, or fats or am pro eating a million bananas a day I just eat whatever I feel like in moderation - but keep it simple & plant based.

How do you balance everything?

Great question, and I'm constantly re-asking myself this on a very regular basis. I just do, haha only kidding - it takes a very strong mindset to be able to juggle all aspects of my life. My degree is extremely demanding, my job is busy, modelling is a whirlwind of emotions, my relationship requires attention and love, traveling goals need funds, social life is dependant on my effort and my health and fitness is driven by my motivation. Some weeks certain aspects take priority but somehow they all seem to balance out in the end.
